Opening band....................

Postby volksmode » Sat Sep 10, 2005 12:18 pm

OK, I am open minded when it comes to music but what is up with The Raveonettes????? They may be a good band ( ? ) , but why can't we see an opening act that at least is the same type of music as Depeche Mode. I saw them with OMD, Nitzer Ebb, Stabbing Westward on two different tours and Poe. All were good but Poe and The Raveonetts? And before I am bashed for speaking my mind cause these are talented bands, I just want to ad that I wish we could see someone at least close to the same type of music.............

I was hoping for The Bravery but, the Raveonettes are playing Seattle. Oh well, of course I'm really looking forward to DM!

Jason? WTF! Give me a call! Here's a link to my webpage... http://www.djdab.com My number is on the contact page!

BTW The Bravery is cool. Very 80's influenced but with a new twist! Too bad we won't get to see them!

The Raveonettes think we are in the 50's still. Straight off the set of Grease. They maybe would be better off opening for the B-52's or Credence. I say DJ Dab spins before the show. 15 years ago at parties he would spin 80's like nobody else. Of course 75% DM. You could only imagine the skills now! Really, pick someone else. I feel bad for The Raveonettes cause it may be fun, but not before DM.
