I have been a DM fan for only 10 years...the band captured me post-wilder w/ "Ultra" therefore, Wilder and i dont have any particular attachments
, (though i must admit i am a Vince-head!)...also, "Somebody" is one of my least favorite songs.... however.....i am envious of everyone lucky enough to attend, the energy in this place must have been astounding. to be surrounded by so much *bleepin'* amazing energy is hard to imagine.Kudos to the band for doing something so special for 'their people' and for a great cause. <3 What a fabulous night it must have been for everyone!! Viva Mode.-K |

I don't particularly like Somebody either and you can bet had they just played this song with Peter Gordeno it wouldn't have gotten such wild cheers . But to me DM and Alan always were a music match made in Heaven .

I'm no expert but Andy and Martin have always been the closest as friends and I think they both had problems with Alan's dominance in the studio and I think Fletch was also pissed off at how Alan left. Fletch displays some of his resentment in the EPK video for the Ultra album I remember. I'm sure other fans know a lot more than i do. I just knew that Andy and Alan did not part on the best of terms. |
