This is a very interesting read--with DM references!--from fellow Basildon band Mixed Feelings. There's a link as well to download demo songs from the band from the same year that includes two covers--"Ice Machine" and "Photographic".

This album is fantastic! Not the lightning-in-a-bottle that Speak & Spell was, but a great example of early 80s minimal synthpop nonetheless. Thanks for sharing it.

Just having a listen to Mixed Feelings' Another Place (Like Home). Very impressed. Sounds very much like an early Talk Talk song, covered by Client, with male lead vocals. Great stuff!
