How far is it from the LG arena to the afterparty ? Is it best to get a taxi or is public transport easy ? Is anyone else from the board going ?
Anyhow that is Birmingham and Manchester after parties sorted. I may give the midweek London ones a miss as I am going to both London concerts and do not think my brain will be able to handle so much in one week
The LG arena is quite away out from the city centre about 12 miles. Your cheapest and best bet is to get a train from birmingham international (which is right by the arena 5 min walk)) into birmingham new street. I think it is then walking distance to the venue.
I would love to go but it will work out too expensive. Tickets plus a 30-40 pound cab back to coventry and drinks is over my budget. but hey cant wait for the gig

Thank you for the tip. It will mean then a 12 mile taxi cab fare back to the hotel at the end of the evening so though an expensive night it should be a night to remember as I have never seen DM in the uk outside of London
Can anyone give me an estimate to how much a 12 mile taxi fare will likely cost ?
Thanks again Northernlights.

No problem. I think it will cost around 20-25 pound. If you negotiate with the cab driver sometimes you can get it a bit cheaper. Worth a go. Or if you can find a good drinking hole until 5am the first train back 5.29am

Can we get tickets on the door or do we have to pre-order? Is it a DM only night or is it a club night too...don't want the silly Emo's ruining it for the rest of us :P

The train from the NEC takes around 10 minutes to get to town, then Eddies is a 5 minute walk from New Street station, if anyone needs more directions or anything give me a shout as that's my turf :P
